Vacancy: Key Account Manager – European Market (Amsterdam Region)
An international producer of high-quality power supply and battery solutions is looking for a driven Key Account Manager to strengthen the European sales team. The company is active in industrial automation, telecom, LED lighting, and various other technical applications.
Job Description
As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and develop key accounts within an assigned European region. You will dive into the product portfolio and translate it into the needs of both existing and new customers. In addition to relationship management, the focus lies on identifying and developing new commercial opportunities. You will work in a team of experienced professionals and young talent, in a culture with short communication lines, strong collaboration, and plenty of room for initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow accounts within your region
- Approximately 30% travel for customer visits and projects
- Identify new prospects and assess incoming requests
- Guide projects through the full sales cycle (quotations, samples, approvals, production)
- Coordinate with internal teams on technical, logistical, and financial matters
- Share market and competitor insights to support product management
Profile
- Experience in account management or technical field sales
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar (or relevant practical experience)
- Basic knowledge of power supply or battery technology is a plus
- Strong communication skills; accurate and proactive
- Independent, organized, and not a 9-to-5 mentality
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
